NEW ORLEANS — A 13-year-old Louisiana girl reported missing has been found safe in Pennsylvania after a multi-agency investigation involving U.S. Marshals, Louisiana State Police, and the FBI.
U.S. Marshals Service says the child was located in a Pittsburgh basement, trapped in a sheet-covered box, on October 30, following a coordinated investigation that spanned multiple states.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service and an arrest affidavit, 26-year-old Ki-Shawn Crumity is charged with child trafficking, multiple counts of statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, and corruption of a minor.
Investigators say the 13-year-old disappeared from Louisiana last week and was tracked across several states.
