An explosion deemed "intentional" by investigators occurred early Saturday (November 1) at a Harvard University medical building. The incident took place around 2:48 a.m. on the fourth floor of the Goldenson Building, located at 220 Longwood Avenue. According to the Harvard University Police Department, a responding officer witnessed two individuals fleeing the scene after a fire alarm was triggered.

The Boston Fire Department's Arson Unit conducted an initial assessment, determining that the explosion appeared to be deliberate . Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries. Following the explosion, Boston police officers conducted a thorough sweep of the building to ensure there were no additional devices present.
