PHOENIX — A man who was found dead Saturday morning in south Phoenix may have been hit by a car, according to officials with the city's police department.
The Phoenix Police Department said officers were called out to the area of 23rd Avenue and Baseline Road just after 9 a.m. for reports of a body found next to the road, police said. The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Latwan Xavier Dossie.
Police believe the car involved may be a gray Audi based on evidence at the scene, officials said. Officials are looking for surveillance footage in the area that may show what happened.
