Thousands are without electricity in the Copley-Fairlawn area because of an outage, FirstEnergy Corp. reported Nov. 1.

Here's where power was out as of 4:35 p.m. and when it was expected to be restored: 1,770 customers in Copley Township, 6 p.m.; 667 in Fairlawn, 6:30 p.m.; 233 in Akron, 7:30 p.m. Earlier numbers in Fairlawn were higher.

Power lines on Miller Road were down and causing the outage, according to 330ToGo on Facebook.
