BUTLER COUNTY —
Two people were killed and two others were injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Buffalo Township, Butler County Saturday evening.
Butler County dispatchers first confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that officials were called to the scene near South Pike and Younkins Road following reports of a crash. Advertisement
The incident was reported just before 3 p.m.
The Buffalo Township Police Department made a post on Facebook alerting drivers to avoid Route 356 between Giant Eagle and Edgewood Drive, along with Younkins Road in the vicinity of Route 356.
"We are responding to a serious accident and the roads will be closed for an extended period," the post said.
The road was closed for hours following the crash.
