TRAVERSE CITY — Area brewers are gearing up to showcase their craft during Traverse City Beer Week.

More than two dozen breweries and taprooms across northern Michigan will feature hundreds of craft beverages, special events, and themed tasting days.

Beer lovers can use a mobile passport for a self-guided tour that includes discounts, prizes, and a chance to earn a Beer Week cap by visiting five locations.

Highlights include the Flapjack & Flannel Festival, the IPA Challenge, and new beer releases from several local breweries.

Each day of Beer Week has a specific theme

Friday, Nov. 7 – Pilsner Party

Saturday, Nov. 8 – Lager Love

Sunday, Nov. 9 – Blonde Moments

Monday, Nov. 10 – Brown Sugar

Tuesday, Nov. 11 – The Red Zone

Wednesday, Nov. 12 – Twist of Flavor

Thursday, Nov 13 – Ho
