Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left "in tears" after spotting a beloved former contestant in the audience.

The popular BBC dance show made its return on Saturday evening (November 1), with presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcoming the celebrity contestants back to the famous ballroom for Halloween week.

Judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, and Craig Revel Horwood were poised to assess the performances before Sunday's fifth elimination.
