Multiple people have been stabbed on a train in Cambridgeshire. ‌

Armed officers stopped the train in Huntingdon after several people were knifed during an attack on Saturday night. ‌

Two people have been arrested at the scene. ‌

A number of people have been taken to hospital with injuries.

Photographs have emerged on social media showing multiple police vehicles in attendance. Officers were seen running along the platform toward one of the carriages.

British Transport Police are also at the station. ‌

Train lines have been blocked on the route to Huntingdon while police and emergency services deal with the incident.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "We were called at 7.39pm with reports that multiple people had been stabbed on a train.
