WASHINGTON (KWTX) — Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested six people with criminal convictions during operations in the Houston area between Oct. 28-30, the agency announced Friday.
The arrests included individuals previously convicted of sexual crimes against minors, aggravated assault and multiple drunk driving offenses, according to ICE.
“Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE law enforcement is arresting and removing criminal illegal aliens including pedophiles, gang members, serial drunk drivers, and violent thugs,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said.
McLaughlin said the agency would continue operations despite what she called “the Democrats’ government shutdown, sanctuary policies, activist politicians, or an 8,000% increase in death threats on ICE off
