This is it. The winner gets a trophy, a ring, and a parade. The loser gets to be sad like all the rest of us. The Dodgers forced this game in dramatic fashion following an exciting game-ending double play and now it’s up to Shohei Ohtani to help lead them to the promised land for a second time. Meanwhile, Max Scherzer will be facing the team that he pitched for in 2021 (that was a fun year, wasn’t it?) with a chance to help push the Blue Jays to their first World Series since 1993. So, are we going to see a silenced Skydome or a bunch of Canadians jumping up and down in ecstasy following the biggest win in club history for over 30 years? It all comes down to this, y’all.
