Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has been suspended for one game due to conduct detrimental to his team, per ESPN's Shams Charania.
After a 117-112 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Morant — who finished with seven assists and eight points on 3-for-14 shooting across 31 minutes — was asked what went wrong.

Morant gave similar versions of that answer over the course of his press conference, before being asked what could have been done, other than asking the coaching staff, Morant replied candidly.
“According to them, probably don’t play me, honestly,” Morant said. “That’s basically what the message was after [the game]. It’s cool.“
