CLINTON – The Clinton Redwolves have put together quite the season, entering the playoffs at 7-2 overall on the year. The momentum gained from an absolutely tremendous season was put to the test on Friday as the Redwolves kicked off their trek toward Ford Field with a first-round home playoff game.
For the second straight season it was Ottawa Lake Whiteford standing in Clinton’s way of advancing, and for the second straight season it was Clinton beating Ottawa Lake Whiteford to advance, this time 36-20.
What Happened?
Clinton controlled a busy first half of play that saw the teams account for 44 of the games 56 points, but it surely was not easy.
Things did not look so good for Clinton in the early going, as Whiteford was able to find the scoreboard first on a 6-yard pass before adding
