BIG COUNTRY, Texas (KTAB/KBRC) - 13 counties in the Big Country are under a burn ban, despite recent rainfall.

"While some burn bans have been lifted and drought conditions have improved thanks to recent rainfall across the Big Country, those improvements can change quickly if dry conditions return and rain stays out of the forecast," KTAB Meteorologist Katalina Bell said.
