LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - There has been a noticeable increase in accidents lately.

KGNS is sharing some driving safety tips to remind everyone to be careful and stay safe on the road.

As a reminder,

Keep your eyes on the road and avoid using your phone or anything else that may take your attention off the road.

Stay a safe distance from the car in front of you, and don’t follow too close.

Never drink and drive.

Always wear a seatbelt.
