In a Reddit post, one woman shared that she and her husband have been married for over five years. She explained that her mother died when she was 16 and her husband was "raised by a single mom," so they each "only had one parent at the wedding."

She noted that her father and her husband's mother "met during the wedding planning, and quickly discovered how much they had in common and how well they got along."
