For the second straight year, Rice field hockey is the Division I champion, clinching the title with a perfect 17-0 record. It's the Green Knight's second straight unbeaten season but this time with all wins.

Top-seeded Rice scored all four of its goals in the first half and held on to a 4-2 win over No. 2 Champlain Valley (14-3) in the Division I championship game at Moulton Winder Field.
