JACKSONVILLE — Georgia football defensive back KJ Bolden was disqualified for targeting in the Bulldogs’ game against Florida on Saturday, Nov. 1.
The targeting call came just after Florida wide receiver Dallas Wilson came down with a catch for 7 yards, which led to Bolden leading with his helmet to make the tackle. Florida was leading Georgia 10-7 just after the two minute timeout in the first half.
The sophomore defensive back is UGA’s third-leading tackler as he entered the game with 33 tackles, two pass breakups and one interception. Against Florida, Bolden registered four total tackles and a tackle for loss.
Who will replace KJ Bolden for Georgia football?
Zion Branch, a redshirt junior who transferred from USC, is expected to take over Bolden’s duties on the field. On the sea
