The Philadelphia Eagles have further augmented up their secondary with a surprising trade for Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jaire Alexander this weekend.

With a bye week in play, the Super Bowl Champions have made some notable moves ahead of the trade deadline, addressing sore points in their defense after watching their cornerbacks struggle.

The NFC East side traded for CB Michael Carter earlier in the week, acquiring him from the New York Jets in exchange for wide receiver John Metchie and a 2026 sixth-round pick, also receiving a 2027 seventh rounder from the Jets.

They have since announced having made a move for Alexander, also getting a 2027 seventh-round pick, with a 2026 sixth-round pick going the other way.
