MARSHALL — It's been tough going for the Bemidji State volleyball team ever since its upset win over Minnesota Duluth on Oct. 21.

Heading into Saturday's tilt against Southwest Minnesota State, losing its previous three matches, BSU couldn't find its footing and was swept by the Mustangs by scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-14.

Ava Athman and Lily Riese both led in kills with nine. Athman also led the team in digs with eight, followed by Madison Tripp with seven and Riese with six.

Tripp recorded 20 assists for Bemidji State. Katrina Thompson and Ava Boelter trailed behind with three.

Kylie Struble led the Beavers with two aces, followed by Jada Wlodarczyk with one. Grace Hoffard recorded BSU's only block.
