BANGOR -- The Husson Eagles fell at the hands of the Curry College Colonels 40-21 on Saturday afternoon.

In the first quarter, Curry had the ball inside the ten-yard line and quarterback Anthony Santino handed it off to Montie Quinn who got around the edge and run into the endzone to give Curry a 10-0 lead early.

Max Clark and the Eagles answered back though, as Clark threaded the needle to his receiver Mari Montgomery to bring Husson back within three.

Early in the second half, Curry began to pull away thanks to a 71-yard touchdown run by Quinn, who's big day on the ground earned the Colonels a 40-21 victory on the road.

The Eagles will travel down to Massachusetts next Saturday to take on conference rival Nichols College.
