British police said on Saturday that multiple people were stabbed on a train near Cambridge, prompting an armed response and the arrest of two individuals.
According to the British Transport Police, officers responded to reports of multiple stabbings on a train bound for Huntingdon. Cambridgeshire Constabulary confirmed that armed police were called to Huntingdon station at around 7:39 pm after receiving reports of the attack.
The train was stopped at Huntingdon, around 75 miles (120 kilometres) north of London, where officers arrested two men in connection with the incident. Several victims were taken to hospital for treatment, police said.
