UNION COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said it is investigating a deadly boating crash that happened Saturday morning.
According to TWRA, two vessels collided near the Highway 33 bridge at around 8:30 a.m.
TWRA officers said each vessel had two people onboard. Two people were taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, and one person was initially unaccounted for.
After a search was launched, TWRA said the missing boater’s body was found and recovered. That person was not identified.
The incident remains under investigation, according to TWRA.
