A suspect remains at large after a 19-year-old man was found shot to death in Lancaster on Halloween.

Los Angeles County deputies responded to a shooting on the 100 block of W Avenue around 12:45 a.m. early Saturday.

Investigators learned that a fight had occurred at a nearby business during a Halloween party. While the victim was standing outside the building, he was shot by an unknown suspect. The shooter fled the scene before authorities arrived

Deputies found the 19-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect description is available and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unclear.
