TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A tragic crash on October 30, 2025, in Tucson has left the community mourning the loss of three young lives: Josiah Patrick Santos, Sophia Akimi Troetel, and Katya Castillo-Mendoza.
The families of the victims expressed their devastation over the incident. "Three young people with their whole lives ahead of them are gone — because of one person’s choice to drive impaired and recklessly," said the families.
