JAMMU, Nov 1: With the arrest of one individual and recovery of stolen gold ornaments as well as cash from his possession, Jammu and Kashmir Police today claimed they have worked out a theft case reported from Durga Nagar area of the district.

Addressing media persons at Police Post Chinnore today, SP Jammu Rural, Brijesh Kumar Sharma said that one Ashok Koul of Durga Nagar lodged a written complaint at Police Post Chinnore last month, reporting a theft of 20 tolas gold and Rs 6 lakh cash from his residence when they were not home.

Accordingly, he said, an FIR under the relevant sections of the law was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
