ALLIANCE − A 29-year-old man was killed Nov. 1 in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of South Arch Avenue and State Street, the Stark County Coroner's Office said.

Nicholas L. Randall Jr., who was living in the Massillon area, was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m. at the crash scene, said Harry Campbell, the coroner's chief investigator.

Randall was driving a Kia southbound when he collided with a westbound box truck. The truck ended up on its side.

Randall's passenger was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, and the passenger's injuries were unknown, said Campbell.

It's not clear if the box truck driver was injured.

Randall was wearing his seatbelt, Campbell said. The traffic lights at the intersection were on flash mode at the time.
