The undefeated Cedar High football team cruised to yet another victory on Friday, as the Reds defeated the Ogden Tigers in the 3A quarterfinals, 49-14.

Senior quarterback Everett Kelling capped off Cedar’s opening drive with an 8-yard touchdown run up the middle to give the Reds an early 7-0 lead.

Cedar ended up scoring two touchdowns in each of the first two quarters to take a 28-0 advantage into halftime. The Reds then added three more TDs in the third quarter as the running clock mercy rule kicked in.

In addition to his rushing touchdown, Kelling ended up completing three TD passes. Slade Parsons and Braxton DeMille each also had a rushing TD, while Daxton DeMille ran back an interception for a TD during the third quarter.
