Nine-year-old Adela Romero stood next to her stall at Carroll Creek Linear Park on Saturday, trying to catch the eye of passers by with her handmade pink and purple keychains, bracelets and necklaces.
She was one of nearly 100 child vendors at the creekside event in downtown Frederick on Saturday, selling handmade goods like jewelry and crochet pieces as well as things like sports cards.
