KALAMAZOO, MI –– Western Michigan has reclaimed the Victory Cannon with a 24-21 win over rival Central Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 1.

It was a packed Waldo Stadium, one that WMU athletic director Dan Bartholomae said was the closest to a sell-out since the Broncos game against Michigan State in 2015.

The Broncos and the Chippewas battled back-and-forth, but a late touchdown, followed by an interception, sealed the Broncos’ comeback victory.

MLive was there to document the action, both on and off of the field. Check out photos from the game in the gallery above. Click here for a direct link to the gallery.
