Cops are searching for a pickup truck driver who struck an elderly woman in the Bronx a year ago who ended up dying of her injuries in April.
Rosa Perry, 89, was walking in the parking lot of a shopping strip on Nov. 2, 2024, around 8:28 p.m. near Co-op City Blvd. and Peartree Ave. in Co-op City when she was struck by Dodge Ram truck driver who left the scene before police arrived, cops said.
Perry suffered an injury to her left foot in the incident and was transported by EMS to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
Perry was later removed to a rehab center, where she died five months later on April 3. Her death stemmed from injuries she suffered from the accident, cops said.
No arrests were made as the NYPD Highway District Collision Investigation Squad is continuing to investiga
