More storms are possible on Sunday, but the worst of the system that brought devastating hail to some parts of south-east Queensland has likely passed.
Patches of heavy rain are likely for at least the next two days in Brisbane.
“The rest of today is a little less severe,” senior meteorologist Angus Hines said.

“There’s still a chance of severe thunderstorms.
“Even though the risk is not as extensive … I expect we will still see pockets that are pretty damaging and disruptive.”
