Fort St. John RCMP have arrested two suspects after an early morning arson and shooting at a local nightclub.
Just before 6 a.m. on Friday, police responded to a suspicious fire at the New Frontier Bar and Nightclub on 100th Avenue.
Fort St. John Fire Department had extinguished the fire, according to an RCMP press release.
“No injuries occurred during what is believed to be an isolated incident,” said the release.
After processing the scene, police found evidence of arson and gunfire directed at the building.

Later that morning, police arrested two suspects at a home in Taylor, B.C., a district about 15 kilometres southeast of Fort St. John.
The two suspects are being held in custody pending the investigation.
