ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Here are my five thoughts on the Buffalo Bills ’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Highmark Stadium:
1. It’s impossible to look at Bills vs. Chiefs and not assume these teams are on a collision course for the postseason.
Since 2020, they’ve met four times in the regular season, with the Bills winning them all. Since 2020, the clubs have also met four times in the playoffs, with the Chiefs winning them all.
There’s something different about this regular-season clash, however. Though both teams have the credentials and pedigree of contenders, they aren’t currently in a place where a playoff clash seems as inevitable as before — especially one for the AFC title, which has happened twice since ’20.
At 5-2, the Bills are in second place in the AFC East,
