RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday fiercely attacked the Nitish Kumar government in an interview with News24’s Editor-in-Chief, Anurradha Prasad. During the interview, when asked about the Bihar government depositing Rs 10,000 into women’s accounts, he termed it a bribe, saying that the money is being distributed during the elections while the Election Commission remains idle. He questioned why such funds were not provided in the last 20 years and asked what emergency justified giving it now, adding that it should have been distributed after the elections.
