Seattle police arrested a security guard early Saturday following a shooting outside a Pioneer Square nightclub, where three people were shot to death earlier this year, according to the Police Department.
Officers near the OHM Nightclub, in the 100 block of South Washington Street, responded to the sound of gunfire just before 2 a.m. They found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was given aid at the scene and transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Witnesses told officers a security guard had fired a weapon in the area. Police detained the 25-year-old man after he dropped a gun and bulletproof vest. He was booked into King County Jail.
