A Melville family are pleading for help to find their much-loved “poppy” whose disappearance last Friday has left his five grandkids distraught.
There continues to be welfare concerns for Robert John Snyder who was last seen at his home on Lakeside Parkway about 12pm on October 24.
A white Subaru Forester was spotted on Thomas Road in Oakford just 10 minutes later, which police believe the 62-year-old was travelling in.
The car has WA registration plates ‘1GQJ 931’.
His daughter Teneil Snyder said this was very unusual behaviour for her father.
“He is a respected engineer, adored poppy and loving husband, father, son and uncle,” she said.
“This is very unusual behaviour for him.
“He has five grandchildren that he adores and is planning his soon-to-be retirement to work on and build
