FARGO, N.D. (WKBN) - Youngstown State gave No. 1 North Dakota State one of their toughest tests yet in a 38-30 loss to the Bison at the FargoDome on Saturday.

The Penguins, who entered a +26.5 point underdog according to ESPN, racked up 371 total yards of offense while scoring the most points against the top team in the FCS all season.

YSU quarterback Beau Brungard completed 19-of-20 passes for 203 yard and a touchdown while rushing for another 50 yards and two more scores.

Defensively, linebacker Preston Zandier recorded an interception and the 'Guins held the Bison just 3.3 yards per carry on 40 attempts.

Despite the stepped-up run game from YSU, all four offensive touchdowns came on the ground as the Bison improve to 9-0.
