MINNEAPOLIS — The Bemidji High School boys cross country team finished its 2025 season at the Class 3A state meet on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks took 14th place at Les Bolstad Golf Course on the campus of the University of Minnesota, finishing with 334 points. Blaine won the 3A state title with 77 points, with Wayzata (102) and Rosemount (106) finishing second and third, respectively.

Blake DeWitt ran the fastest time for BHS, finishing in 81st place at 16:42.4. William Ames took 92nd at 16:47.3, with Caleb Knott (16:53.2) and Tanner Johnson (16:57.7) taking 104th and 109th, respectively.

Deven Bentler (17:23.8, 136th), Daniel Scherling (17:38.3, 146th) and Kyle Millar (17:50.0, 155th) rounded out the day for the Jacks.
