MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A Valley couple who are both U.S. Air Force veterans received an unexpected gift that could change their lives when they stopped by a financial services office for what they thought was a routine meeting.
Hollye and Christopher Johnson were speechless when they arrived at a Cooper Financial office in Mesa with their two daughters and were told they would receive 12 months of mortgage payments along with an assortment of gifts and gift cards.
Cooper Financial has been working with the Gradient Gives Back Foundation , which provides financial relief to families facing hardships nationwide. The Johnsons were chosen from a group of more than 100 families.
