An investigation is underway after two people were allegedly shot while driving on Route 24 in Brockton, Massachusetts, near the Stoughton-Avon town line, on Saturday morning.

State police say they were contacted by Brockton police early in the morning after two people sought medical attention for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds at Good Samaritan Hospital.

The two victims reported that another vehicle shot at them while they were traveling on Route 24 south, according to police, who said this matter remains under investigation.
