UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- The line was out the door at Parm on the Upper West Side on Saturday night.
It was filled with carb-loading marathon runners who were hungry for pasta and for a taste of victory.
"I think it's such an impressive accomplishment. You don't want to let yourself down, or other people you've been working with or training with, so you really want to kind of go out there and show your best and get through it," said Elizabeth Roseman.
Helping Roseman get through her first marathon will be her fiancé Travis McKenzie running alongside her.
"I think there's going to be moments where I'm feeling good and I'll be encouraging her, there's going to be moments where I might not be feeling good and she'll pick up the slack, and I think that's the most exciting thin
