BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Football overcame a slow start to pick up a 35-16 Homecoming win over New Mexico State on Saturday at Houchens-Smith Stadium.

The Hilltoppers scored all 35 points over the final three quarters – led by a four-touchdown performance from redshirt freshman quarterback Rodney Tisdale Jr. – and held the Aggies to just 176 yards of offense in the game to improve to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in Conference USA play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

New Mexico State scored the only points of the first quarter with a 32-yard field goal with 1:00 left in the frame.

The Aggies added to the lead with a 27-yard field goal with 7:15 to play in the first half.
