There was an explosion early Saturday at Harvard Medical School that appears to have been intentional, but no one was injured, authorities said. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) along with the Boston Police have begun an investigation into the incident as photos of the suspects were released.
A university police officer responded to the fire alarm and tried to stop two unidentified people who ran from the Goldenson Building before going to where the alert was triggered, university police said in a statement.
“The officer attempted to stop the individuals before proceeding to the floor where the alarm had been triggered," police said. Police have released images of two individuals captured on closed-circuit TV cameras around the time of the incident.
