On This Day In 2013: Rohit Sharma played a knock for the ages to produce the first of his three iconic double centuries in One-Day Internationals and sealed India’s decisive victory in the yet famous 2013 series against Australia on this day. After fortunes shifted back and forth across Pune, Jaipur, Mohali and Nagpur with abandoned games in Ranchi and Cuttack, the seven-match series reached Bengaluru for the summit clash, where Rohit took matters into his hands and played an innings that etched him in the record books forever.
