LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man is dead after a shooting in the Beechmont neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Officers responded to a call at around 9:20 p.m. of a shooting in the 300 block of West Kingston Avenue on Saturday, Nov. 1.

At the scene, police found an adult male outside the address who had been shot.

Officers began first aid until EMS arrived at the scene and transported the victim to UofL Hospital, where the victim was eventually declared dead.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
