SALT LAKE CITY — One teen is dead, and another is in critical condition following a shooting and crash in West Valley City Friday night.
The West Valley City Police Department said just before midnight, police responded to a report of shots fired at a party near 2600 West 4000 South.
In a post to X , WVCPD said the shooting occurred during an altercation at the party, where several people “spilled into the street” and “multiple parties began shooting at one another” before fleeing the scene.
During their investigation, police found shell casings. Shortly after this, the Murray Police Department contacted WVCPD about a crash at 5300 South State St. involving a 17-year-old male and 15-year-old female.
Upon their arrival to the scene, officers determined both teens had gunshot wounds. The
