Some roads and freeway offramps were closed Saturday evening as law enforcement agencies prepared for possible reaction to the end of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Los Angeles Police Department also declared a citywide tactical alert to prepare for any possible public response. The alert allows the agency to keep officers on duty beyond their normal shifts.
Caltrans, noting there was also a hockey game at Crypto.com Arena between the LA Kings and the New Jersey Devils, at 6:52 p.m. said some Downtown LA off-ramps near LA Live were closed:
The LAPD Central Division and LA Metro noted some related closures and changes to bus service:
—Pico Boulevard was closed between LA Live Way and Grand Avenue
—Flower Street was closed between Ninth
