Old Dominion University’s football team turned in one of its strongest performances of the season, defeating ULM 31–6 on Saturday afternoon to secure bowl eligibility for the fourth time in school history.
The win improved ODU’s record to 6–3 overall and 3–2 in the Sun Belt Conference, marking the earliest the program has ever become bowl eligible.
The Monarchs will return home to face Troy on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at S.B. Ballard Stadium in a game that will be televised nationally on ESPN. SportsCenter is also scheduled to broadcast live from Kaufman Mall from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. before kickoff, and ODU Head Coach Ricky Rahne will appear on the program.
