BENTON — For nine weeks this season, the Benton Rangers' offense looked like an unstoppable force, scoring 418 points through a perfect 9-0 regular season.
But Saturday afternoon, St. Joseph-Ogden held Benton scoreless through three quarters and to just 14 total points as senior kicker Lucas Smith nailed a 43-yard field goal to upset the Rangers, 17-14, as time expired.
