ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis celebrated Día de los Muertos on Saturday, a Mexican holiday honoring family members and loved ones who have passed away.
The Missouri History Museum held a ceremony on Saturday, which included an altar viewing, crafts to make and take, stories in both English and Spanish, and more.
The Delmar Loop hosted a festival for the holiday, featuring food, drinks, vendors, face painting, live music, and performances.
The holiday is celebrated from Nov. 1 to Nov. 2 and consists of setting an altar with a picture of a loved one and placing food or items they enjoyed during life.
Nov. 1 is for children who have passed, and Nov. 2 is for adults who have passed.
The History Museum will have one more day of activities and celebrations for Día de los Muerto
